Tennesse and Kentucky
LCSW, LADAC II, CAADC

My name is Kyra Tuley, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a contract counselor. I studied at Western Kentucky University for both my bachelor's and master's in social work. I have three years of experience in substance use counseling with a focus in trauma, dual diagnosis, and at-risk youth. In addition to my expertise in addiction and trauma, I also specialize in anxiety, self-harm, cultural identity, and eating disorders. I offer a client-centered approach, empowering individuals to build coping strategies, develop healthier relationships with themselves, and learn to provide themselves with the grace and understanding they deserve. I am trained in DBT, CBT, and EMDR interventions.

Having grown up as a military brat in a multicultural household, I understand the challenges associated with frequent change, a blend of cultural expectations, and the stressors of constant adaptation. I believe this personal experience allows me to provide a unique perspective in my counseling, and overall assist in relatability to several populations as well. Outside of work, I find fulfillment in rock climbing, expressing myself through art, and spending time with my two cats.
