A proud Houston native, she always knew that she would advocate for others in some way, initially considering Law School before becoming an Addictions Counselor. Leah attended Bellevue University graduating with a BS in Behavioral Science. She also graduated from Capella University with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout the course of her career, Leah has worked in residential treatment and outpatient treatment. This led to the development of her own private practice, in which she can give special attention to marginalized populations in a therapeutic environment. She’s passionate about social justice, mental health, substance abuse and making families better.
